-MUSEO DEL PROGRESSO- Collezione Graziano
We are looking for persons, institutions or organizations from all around the world interested in nurturing the rich historical and cultural heritage represented by the “Museo del Progresso-Collezione Graziano”.
The Museum was inaugurated on 12 November 2004. In more than 10 years thousands of people have visited this Collection, which brings together original FIAT documents, cars, appliances and gadgets, and describes the Italian history of the 20th century through the lens of the Turin automotive company.
Despite FIAT is generally known around the world for vehicles, through the Collection, the visitors have the opportunity to discover the other side of the company’s production, made of household appliances (including washing machines, fridges, and toasters), scooters, bicycles, handguns and airplanes.
The Collection has received important recognition from relevant national authorities, including the Italian Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MiBACT) and UNESCO Italian National Commission.
Over the years the Collection has been enriched with new documents and unique pieces.
Being a private collection, there are some challenges to address, such as the resources required for the organization of visits and the exhibition space, which is becoming inadequate. For these reasons, we would be happy to discuss any proposal aimed at preserving this unique Collection and making it available to the wider public.
